How do I remove blue fountain pen ink from clothing and upholstery fabrics?
1) Use a correction pen or Super Corrector. For royal blue ink, you can use a correction pen or Bruynzeel Super Corrector. You can then simply wash the item of clothing according to the washing instructions.
2) First soak, then wash. Allow clothing to soak first in a prewash detergent and then wash it according to the washing instructions. Some types of fabric will have to be washed a couple of times.
3) Stains on upholstery fabrics. Treat the mark with suds and ox-gall soap. Make sure first that you will not damage the fabric by using such aggressive agents. Therefore try it out first on an unobtrusive spot. You can also pre-treat the mark with buttermilk. That certainly applies to clothing.
Please note: There will always be special fabrics from which the stain cannot be fully removed.

I dropped my pen, what now?
If the pen falls on its nib, then there is a big chance it will be irreparably damaged. Due to the fall, it is possible that ink has leaked. Advice: rinse fountain pen thoroughly with water. |

My Bruynzeel My Grip is not writing smoothly. What now?
Not only the right posture when writing is crucially important, but maintenance of the Bruynzeel My Grip also ensures smooth writing. The life span of any fountain pen is extended considerably through simple maintenance. To safeguard the quality of the fountain pen, we recommend that you thoroughly rinse the ink conduction system and nib at least twice a year with water. We also advise you to do this if you will not be using the fountain pen for a while (more than 2 weeks). Also, use only good-quality cartridges, such as the Bruynzeel ink cartridges. |
 |
|
I forgot the cap and now my fountain pen won’t write. What now?
If a fountain pen has been left open (without cap) for a while, the ink can dry up in the nib. This blocks the flow of ink. Rinse the nib well, allow it to dry and in time the ink will start to flow again. |
